Born and raised in Fort McMurray, Keegan describes his work as an amazing opportunity to give back to his the community he is so passionate about. He loves working with kids and seeing their growth in the unique programs he designs or programs that he co-creates with the BFFL Network. "I love working community events and going into schools to work with kids at all ages for all different types of activities. I epically love being able to bring down every grade 5 kid each year for our Mega Boyz and girl power events. I love coming to work everything day and representing BFFL."

Lindsay has a passion for physical activity promotion in Alberta and assumes a dual role in Edmonton. Coordinating the Be Fit For Life Network and the Edmonton Centre provides a unique perspective on the provincial and local communities. Working out of the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation, Lindsay supports many partnerships to build the capacity for physical activity opportunities in the central Alberta region.
Sandra has been a leader in the development of the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Fitness Centre and a mentor to our staff since her arrival at RDC since June of 2017. From teaching Fitness classes, personal training, running programs and living her passion for Health & Wellness Sandra is a wealth of knowledge and a bubble of energy!
Sandra has worked in municipal government & Recreation for over 14 years, opening fitness centres and is truly passionate with management, leadership and running staff teams.

Leah Yardley is the Coordinator of the Be Fit For Life Centre at the University of Calgary. She holds a Kinesiology degree and is a CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist. Leah is a Fundamental Movement Skills Community Leader Facilitator through the National Coaching Certification Program. She is passionately involved in the promotion of health and wellness to the surrounding community and has a deep dedication to the future health of people today.
Ashley Fox is the Be Fit For Life Physical Literacy Coordinator at the University of Calgary. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with a major in Mind Sciences and is a CSEP – Certified Exercise Physiologist. Ashley also recently completed her certificate in Integrative Health Coaching from Mount Royal University. Her passion and expertise for promoting physical activity and wellness lead her to becoming a Learning Facilitator for the NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills workshops. She enjoys the benefits of activity by running, biking, skating, and golfing.
Amy has worked with the Be Fit for Life Centre since 2007 and is committed to the community collaborative, Moving and Choosing.
Amy is a certified yoga teacher with the International Yoga Association, Yoga Association of Alberta and Integrative Yoga Therapy. She has also achieved an E-RYT (Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher) designation with Yoga Alliance. Amy is certified with Stott Pilates, AFLCA Group Fitness and Strength Specialties and a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
Her career motivation has always been to provide participants of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience a variety of modes of physical activity. Amy’s friendly and accepting attitude creates a motivating and supportive environment for those she works with.
Kayla joined the Be Fit for Life Centre at the Medicine Hat College in the spring of 2013 and is responsible for fitness services offered to the MHC community (program design, fitness assessments and personal training) and physical literacy programming (for schools, sport teams, recreation programs etc.)
Kayla graduated from the Lethbridge College Exercise Science Program with honours in 2011, and has obtained several Fitness certifications (CSEP-CPT, AFLCA, Pre/Post Natal Fitness Consultant, Twist Sport Performance Bronze Level etc.) to better assist the needs of her clientele. Kayla has worked with all ages helping to assist them with lifestyle changes to help them lead happy healthy lives.
When Kayla is not helping others meet there health and fitness goals she can be found chasing her daughter Scarlett around, hiking with her husband, Darren or playing rec volleyball.
Tara has worked with the Be Fit for Life Centre since 2014. Tara is responsible for occupational fitness testing and is the director of the Rattler Run. Tara completed her Master of Arts degree in Adapted Physical Activity from the University of Alberta. She also is trained as an AFLCA leader in Older Adult Fitness. Tara has worked and volunteered extensively in the world of adapted physical activity focusing in on the sports of sledge hockey, boccia, adapted cycling, wheelchair curling and adapted fitness. Her most notable roles include Head Coach of the Canadian National Women’s Sledge Hockey Team and Program Coordinator of Medicine Hat Adaptive Sport and Recreation.
Caylee Vogel is the Program Administrator for the Lethbridge College Be Fit For Life Centre. With a background in management and exercise science, she seeks opportunities to enhance health and wellness for community members. She is passionate for developing individuals both personally and professionally. This is exemplified through coaching indoor track for collegiate athletes and expanding on certifications with CSEP, AFLCA, Precision Nutrition, and even laughter yoga.
Diane is the Projects Coordinator in Lethbridge and is passionate about building and supporting lifelong health and wellness opportunities in the community. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics and Nutrition, and is a CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist and AFLCA instructor. Her background includes exercise therapy, education and community recreation for all ages. Diane is a triathlon enthusiast, and enjoys participating in a wide variety of outdoor pursuits with her family.
